Alive and ready from day one
Natural Probio water kefir grains come from time-honoured methods, which is what makes them distinctive, vigorous and resilient. They travel alive in their own liquid and are ready to work as soon as you open the pouch. There is nothing to rehydrate and no long wake-up period: follow the leaflet, set up your jar, and your first drink is ready the next day.
Our cultures are selected for their vitality and guaranteed alive on arrival. Read more about our quality promise, product by product.
It is what customers notice first. "Quick to arrive and quick to get going," wrote Francis in a review on the product page; "the activation was child's play," said Stefan T. on Trustpilot (both translated).

When the parcel arrives
Open it on the day it comes and start your first jar the same day, or the next day at the latest. If life gets in the way, pop the pouch in the fridge: it will happily wait a few days. A slightly puffed-up pouch is a good sign, and grains that seem a little sleepy at first find their rhythm within two or three jars. Not sure about something? Email us a photo and we will tell you, usually the same day. Our beginner's guide covers the first week in more detail.
Questions about your order
Do the grains really arrive alive?
Yes. They travel in their own liquid in a sealed pouch and are active on arrival. Follow the leaflet and you should see the first small bubbles within a day.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. A glass jar, a sieve, a clean cloth and a swing-top bottle are enough, and most kitchens already have them. The full list is in the guide.
Can I order from anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Natural Probio delivers across the UK and worldwide, and the delivery time and charges for your address are shown at checkout, before you pay. For anything unusual, email us first and we will confirm.
What if the pouch arrives damaged?
Send a photo of the parcel and its contents to hello@natural-probio.com and we will send a replacement straight away, with no need to return anything.
